Sin entered the world
Though Adam at the fall
And death, through sin,
Came to us all
Death reigned before the Law
That, through Moses, came
Until God's gift of grace
That through Christ Jesus came
Judgment followed sin,
Bringing condemnation;
God's grace followed sinners
To offer justification
For if death reigned
Through one's rebelliousness
How much more will we receive
God's gift of righteousness
For the righteous act of Jesus
Who obeyed His Father's will
Paid for our redemption
On the cross where Christ's blood spilled
Where sin increased, in broken laws
Grace increased all the more
To bring eternal life
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord
