May we recognize Jesus
In the breaking of the bread
As we lift our hands in gratitude
For all we have received
Good gifts from up above
May we taste and savour
In communion,
And in daily bread
The presence of the Lord
Who is risen, has forgiven
Those who tore ope His flesh
May we digest the true bread
That from Heaven,
Has come down
May we hunger for Him alone
