More Than Victorious (Romans 8:28-39)

In all things, God works
For the good of His own
Who love Him, those He called,
Those He had foreknown
To be justified, glorified
To the likeness of Jesus
So then, if God is for us
Who can be against us?
He did not spare His own Son
But for us gave Him up
Will He not graciously
Overflow our cups?
Who will accuse
Those God did select?
God is our judge
And He is perfect
Who, then, condemns?
No one, for Christ Jesus,
Who died and arose,
Is with God praying for us
Who shall separate us
From the love of
Christ Jesus our Lord?
Hardship, famine, persecution,
Nakedness, danger or sword?
“For your sake we face death,”
Is written within the psalter
“We’re considered as sheep
Lying down on the altar”
No, in all these things
We are more than victorious
Through Christ Jesus, our Lord
Whose love is so glorious
For I know that not death
No force in creation, below or above
Will ever be able to separate us
From
God's unfailing love
